Is Opagine really free?

Yes. Creating, designing and downloading your CV is free, with no watermark and no paywall at the download button.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the editor and start writing. Sign in with Google only if you want the AI assistant, want to connect an AI app, or want your CVs on any device.

Where is my CV stored?

Without an account, in your browser, on your device: export a backup file to keep a copy or to continue on another computer. When you sign in, the CVs in your browser move to your account, and new ones are saved there. You can delete the account, with everything in it, at any time.

Can Claude or ChatGPT edit my CV?

Yes, over MCP. Opagine has an MCP server: connect Claude, ChatGPT or any app that supports MCP on the “Connect AI apps” page. It works with the CVs in your account, each change shows in the editor, and it doesn’t use the assistant’s daily messages.

Will applicant tracking systems (ATS) read my CV?

The PDF contains real text, not an image, so ATS software can read it. For the safest results choose a simple one-column design; the design list can filter for them.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes, the editor works on phones and tablets. For fine-tuning the design a larger screen is more comfortable.
